January 2012 Ski Trip

Although I am writing about My New Thing for January now, I had something planned.  My New Thing was to take the family skiing!  And we did just that over the holiday break.  We left on Thursday, January 12th and spent the evening unwinding at Hidden Valley.  The kids swam with Dad and had a great time.  On Saturday, January 14th, Annalese and Robert took their first ski lesson and did an awesome job.  A few more hours and they would have been able to ski down a slope.  Watching them, I was itching to get on the slopes myself.  Next year.  This year Matthew needed our attention.  But all in all, we had a great time!
